A style that combines the extreme nature of the Metal genre with the rhythmic nature, and heaviness of modern Hardcore. This style is very widespread, and many artists in this style borrow many other musical elements from the extreme music spectrum. Most extreme bands that have come out within the last decade fall under this style.
