From the countryside of Moe City, MN, Tooth & Nail Records presents Children 18:3. The punk rock trio of home schooled siblings released two EPs: Places I Don't Want To Go EP (2004), and Songs of Desperation EP (2006) before being signed by Tooth & Nail Records in January 2007. Drawing varied influence from Rancid, The Beatles, Blink 182 and Gwen Stefani, Children 18:3 released their self-titled Tooth & Nail debut, Children 18:3, on February 26, 2008.
Children 18:3 consists of siblings David, Lee Marie and Seth Hostetter. The lead vocals are shared by David and Lee Marie.
Their band's name refers to the Bible verse Matthew 18:3, "And he said: "I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven."
After scoring two charted hits with their full length debut, the band returned with Rain's 'A Comin', and recieved immediate critical praise for their combination of of driving rock with pop-punk overtones.
Children 18:3 fills their 21st century punk rock frenzied twists, old school attitude and lyrics of hope and faith.
