MercyMe, David Crowder Band, Family Force 5, Francesca Battistelli, Fee, Remedy Drive and Sidewalk Prophets will all be part of the 2nd annual Rock & Worship Roadshow starting in March. According to organizers:
Admission prices will again be $10 at-the-door, as the tour aims to be an event for fans of all ages, especially families. In addition to bringing a night of exciting performances, the tour is also dedicated to a much greater purpose: helping children with juvenile diabetes via “Imagine A Cure”, a non profit organization geared to raise awareness and to support research that will lead to a cure along with Compassion International, a Christian child advocacy ministry that releases children from spiritual, economic, social and physical poverty and enables them to become responsible, fulfilled Christian adults. Living Sacrifice have officially named their new, upcoming album The Infinite Order. It will be released through Solid State Records at a date not yet made available to the public, although the album is in the later stages of being mixed right now. Apparently MercyMe‘s tour bus was involved in a very serious car accident this week involving several other vehicles this week. No one aboard the bus was hurt, but unfortunately the drivers of the car that caused the accident were killed by the impact. Please pray for the families involved adn the band as they deal with this unfortunate event.
